Zeeman Effect Experiment
$1.00
In a magnetic field, the spectral lines of atoms split into a number of closely spaced lines. This is called the (anomalous) Zeeman Effect. The Zeeman Effect was very important in the development of Quantum Mechanics.
1.Measure the Zeeman Effect with polarization perpendicular and parallel to the field.
2.Observe the light along the magnet axis.
